I have put together my final selection of photos for my project.
I have been slowly collecting shots and putting them together.
I am happy with the end result and hope my prof agrees.

The Beauty of the Night
One thing I love about London is its beauty at night. A few days I went out as the sun was setting and saw one of the art exhibits part of Drift 08. I was planning on seeing a handful that night but I got stuck taking photos on this one exhibit.

A Stroll Along the River
The sun was shining in London, so I decided to get out and explore the city. I had yet to make it over to Big Ben and Parliament and I had been meaning to get over to St. Paul's. I grabbed my camera and set out on a photography adventure.
Project photos to come
Enjoy.

A Successful First Try
Here is my first batch of shots from London. They are not quite the finished project. But they give me an idea of how I can improve now that I am in this environment. I have a lot of ideas and locations I can't wait to return to.
The first three are from the British Museum The fourth is from Hyde Park.

C&C welcome.

Digging in the Sand
After my test shots at Downtown Disney, I went to the beach for some day time crowd shots.
I ran into some of the same problems. There is nothing interesting going on. Movement is visible but there is nothing to draw in the eye.
I changed the format to include a black background. This is about the oly step in the correct direction that I have so far.

Comments and criticism welcome.

First Exposure
I intend this to be a space where I will display my work in progress. It is a addendum to my travel blog which is about every aspect of my semester abroad. Here I will go into more detail about one aspect, my independent project.
I am charged with the challenge of capturing life in London in photographic stills that resemble the motion seen through film.
I have done some testing with this concept and have found this to be a challenging but plausible project to accomplish.
Here are some of my tests shots from earlier this summer. Clearly I have some work to do, but I am learning from what does and does not work.

I look forward to criticism and comments. I am open to any suggestions throughout this process as a fresh perspective is always welcome, especially after I have starred at the same shot for 4 hours.
